WHY THIS EXISTS
THE 208 AUDIT
A fixed-scope diagnostic. 10 business days. One fixed fee.
Built to name the real problem before anyone builds on top of it.
Most engagements start with a proposal. Ours start with a question: what's actually broken?
The problem you came in with is almost never the problem that matters. Most agencies build on the answer they were handed. We check that answer first. Every time. The Audit is that check.
WHAT’S IN IT
The Examine phase of our Cultural Mechanics process, sold on its own. We look at your positioning, your customer, your category, and how your marketing and business are actually lining up. We pressure-test the assumptions you're currently operating on.
YOU LEAVE WITH
The real problem, named, not the obvious one
The opportunity available to you now
The first three moves to act on it
A working session with your team to align around all of it
When Von Hoffmann came to us, the stated problem was marketing. What we found was categorization — they were being filed under "contractors" by the customers who needed "architects." Every marketing dollar they'd spent was solving the wrong problem. That's the pattern. The problem you can name is rarely the one that matters.
IN PRACTICE
10 business days, start to finish.
One fixed fee: $8500
No hourly billing.
No scope creep.
TIMELINE + FEE
If we continue together within sixty days, one hundred percent of the Audit fee credits toward the engagement. The Audit is designed to earn the next conversation. Not lock you into one.
THE CREDIT
A review of the brief before anything gets built on it.
A brief is a hypothesis. It says the customer wants this and we're the right answer. Most teams treat that as a finding, because the person who would check it is the person who wrote it.
We check it. Three business days, one fixed fee. You send us the brief and whatever sits behind it, and we tell you whether the assumption holds, where it's thin, and what would have to be true for it to work.
Sometimes the answer is that it's sound. That's worth knowing before you spend the quarter.
Three days, $2,500.
